I have been working at OATo since 1991, previously as “Researcher in Astronomy”, and now as “Head of Research”.
I have authored more than 500 scientific papers, more than half of which published in the most prestigious refereed international journals.

MAGIC Associate Scientist – since 2018
Member of the GAIA Data Processing and Analysis Consortium (DPAC) and scientific supervisor of the work package “AGN” of the Coordination Unit 7 (CU7) – since 2019
Program Manager of the Italian participation in the Vera C. Rubin Legacy Survey of Space and Time (Rubin-LSST) project – since 2021

My main field of research includes BLAZARS, especially their variability, both from observational and theoretical point of view, and AGNs in general.
