 I have been working at OATo as “Researcher in Astronomy” since 1991.
I have authored more than 450 scientific papers, half of which published in the most prestigious refereed international journals.
Here are my active roles:
Executive Officer of the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope (WEBT) – since 2000
MAGIC Associate Scientist – since 2018
Member of the GAIA Data Processing and Analysis Consortium (DPAC) and responsible for the work package “AGN” of the Coordination Unit 7 (CU7) – since 2019
Program Manager of the Italian participation to the Vera C. Rubin Legacy Survey of Space and Time (Rubin-LSST) – since 2021

 

My main field of research includes BLAZARS, both from observational and theoretical point of view, and AGN in general.

I am Officer of the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope since 2000 and have been Campaign Manager of several WEBT Campaigns.

I am Principal Investigator of the Italian Project blazars, Fast Radio Bursts and Unidentified gamma-ray Sources for the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope  (LSST) since 2016.

I am member of the LSST Transients and Variable Stars Science Collaboration since 2017.

I am MAGIC associate scientist since 2018.
