SHORT DESCRIPTION
DARKERSKY4CE – Strategic Transnational Approach to Reduce Light pollution in Central Europe – is an Interreg Central Europe project that aims to reduce light pollution in central Europe by changing how it is perceived by policy makers, tourism facilities, tourists and locals. The project objective is to raise awareness on the problem and generate a positive, solution-oriented, attitude to preserve ecosystems and biodiversity, highlighting that dark skies can be a competitive asset for sustainable development in non-urbanised areas.
ROLE
Il progetto DARKERSKY4CE will be coordinated by Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF), Italia, with the active partecipation of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship (KPV), Polonia, South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (STRIA), Ungheria, Aufbauwerk Region Leipzig GmbH (ABW), Germania, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS), Austria, GAL Escartons e Valli Valdesi (GAL EVV), Italia, e Regional Development Agency of Northern Primorska L.t.d. Nova Gorica (RDA NG), Slovenia.
