The kick-off meeting of the Interreg Central Europe project DARKERSKY4CE was held at INAF – Turin Astrophysical Observatory, on 24 th and 25 th June 2024.
The representatives of the Project Partners, hosted by INAF – OATo, the Project Leader, met in Pino Torinese to get to know each other in person and to start planning the first steps of the project, which aims to reduce light pollution in Central Europe in order to preserve its ecosystems and their biodiversity and to enhance dark skies as a competitive resource for sustainable development in non-urbanised areas.
