In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day, celebrated annually on 11th February, aims to encourage the participation of women and girls in STEM fields and to highlight the important role they play in research.
On this occasion, we, the female researchers at the Astrophysical Observatory of Turin, through our example and our photos, want to inspire young female students to enter the world of scientific and technological research.
